Main CampusThe main training campus of the African Leadership Institute is at the Rock Lodge. Situated in the Okahandja district, 85 km from Windhoek and 12 km from Okahandja on the B2 road to Swakopmund, the Rock Lodge offers the ideal island situation in which students can focus on their development as leaders. The campus offers sophisticated conference facilities, accommodation and the splendid solitude of the Namibian bush towards an effective and conducive learning environment. The campus rooms are spacious, comfortable and conveniently located. The training facilities include 2 fully equipped conference venues, as well as 2 further breakaway rooms.

The African Leadership Institute’s administration office (head office) is situated in Windhoek. Our office is situated in the Price water house Coopers (“PwC”) building in Independence Avenue.

About Rock LodgeOur combination of sophisticated conference facilities, accommodation and the splendid solitude of the Namibian bush makes for an interesting location away from civilization. Add to that touches of natural wood, stone & thatch and you have a setting that is both comfortable and pleasing to the senses. Choose to relax at the Rock Lodge’s calming surroundings, loosen up with a nature drive through our 2500 hectare farm, where you’ll be able to spot a variety of game such as zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, red hartebeest, springbok, and a variety of birdlife. Or take a scenic walk trough the Namibian bush, drink a sundowner on the mountain, enjoying the peacefulness of nature.

About Rock Training Centre
The African Leadership Institute, in partnership with the Rock Training Centre (RTC), situated at the Rock Lodge, also offers educational programs that are unique and specifically designed to meet the needs of the Namibian youth. Our basic philosophy is a holistic approach to education and personal development. We believe that through adventure and challenge, young people can be developed as leaders with the aim of identifying and fulfilling their purpose in life. Annually, between 4000 and 6000 children come to the Rock Training Centre.
